OBJECTIVE.
Our objective was to redesign the new Cheers store of the future, taking into consideration the brand's new positioning and the evolving profiles of more connected shoppers.
APPROACH.
We embarked on a deep dive into the new brand values to understand how to effectively communicate with shoppers and design the store's fresh look and feel. We analyzed data to interpret shopper behavior within Cheers stores and identify their changing expectations for the shopping experience. Additionally, we developed a mood board that incorporated cost-effective and environmentally friendly materials, a new brand identity, and the required fixtures and store hardware.
THE SOLUTION.
We devised a store design based on an innovative, shopper-centric approach—the "slow retail concept." This concept influenced the store layout, fixture design, and planograms, all aimed at providing shoppers with a tailored shopping experience based on their profiles and missions. By doing so, we enabled them to spend more time in the store, engaging in multiple occasions such as breakfast on the go, lunch, post-lunch coffee, top-up purchases, and even on their route back home.
CREDITS.
This concept was designed during my time working at Dass Inc., in collaboration with the creative team, and in partnership with Superunion.
